World Language Club - Explores Cultures & Traditions
Posted on 11/15/2016

The World Language Club had a fantastic turn out for the “Day of the Dead” celebration which takes place November 1st and 2nd in Mexico.  Students from German, French, Spanish and Exploratory Language classes participated in celebrating the Mexican Holiday by crafting the cempasuchil flower, otherwise known as a marigold flower. Students also discovered why and how it is celebrated by Mexican-Americans here in the United States.    Our next event will be December 8th to learn about the traditions surrounding the holiday season.
